Misty Dawn Broshuis and Alan Lynn Kesterson were united in marriage May 10, 2008, at First Baptist Church in Oak Ridge. Bill McCormack performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Ronald Broshuis of Glenallen, Mo., and Debbie Allen of Clubb, Mo. The groom is the son of Larry and Linda Kesterson of Oak Ridge.

Maid of honor was Ranee Grindstaff of Jackson. Bridesmaids were Nikki Calhoun of Greenville, Mo., cousin of the bride; Natasha Broshuis of Marble Hill, Mo., sister of the bride; and McKala Henson, daughter of the bride.

Wayne Saupe of Shawneetown was best man. Groomsmen were Kevin Saupe of Perryville, Mo., Mark and Thomas Grindstaff of Jackson. Ushers were Kevin Saupe of Shawneetown and Mark Grindstaff of Jackson.

Candlelighters were mothers of the bride and groom.

Flower girl was Cori Grindstaff of Jackson. Ringbearer was Garett Henson, son of the bride.

Guest book attendant was Kim Renaud of Imperial, Mo., sister of the groom.

The reception was held at the church. Servers were the bride's mother; Teena Nelson of Clubb, Mo., aunt of the bride; and Amber Nelson of Clubb, cousin of the bride.

The bride's mother hosted the rehearsal dinner at the church.

Mrs. Kesterson received her GED from Woodland High School in 2002.

The groom is a 1998 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. He is employed at Apria Healthcare in Cape Girardeau.

A wedding trip is planned this fall.

The couple resides in Jackson.
