Amy Brooks and Michael J. Hess were married June 26, 2004, at First General Baptist Church in Jackson. The Rev. Luther Rhodes performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Billie and Pat Edwards of Chester, Ill. The groom is the son of Sharon Foster of Jackson.
Maid of honor was Amanda Edwards, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Pam Groshong, sister of the groom; Dee Sanford and Malinda Hill.
The groom chose his grandfather, Freeman Siebert, as best man. Groomsmen were Don Rice, Vince Fisher, and Charles Groshong, brother-in-law of the groom. Ushers were Nathan and Jonathan Edwards, cousins of the bride.
Candlelighters were Alex and Chance, sons of the bride.
Flower girls were Maggie and Grace Groshong, nieces of the groom. Ringbearer was Ethan Groshong, nephew of the groom.
After a wedding trip to Mexico, the couple is residing in Jackson.
