ALTENBURG, Mo. -- Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg was the setting Sept. 15, 2001, for the wedding of Nicole Marie Bohnert and Brian Charles Geringer. The Rev. Wayne Palmer performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Tyson Wunderlich, cellist was Steve Schaffner, violinists were Melvin Gilhaus and Stephanie Schaffner, and soloist was Sally Buerck.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bohnert of Altenburg are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Geringer of Perryville, Mo.

Maid of honor was Angela Bohnert, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Adele Bohnert, sister of the bride; Stacey Geringer, sister of the groom; Dana Ponder of St. Louis; Margaret Hyams of Champaign, Ill.; Dana Seibel of Frohna, Mo.; and Christine Logan of Puxico, Mo.

Scott Geringer served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were John Klein of St. Louis; Brian Schnurbusch of Cape Girardeau; Greg Bohnert, cousin of the bride; Jeremy Gremaud of St. Louis; and Kyle Bohnert, cousin of the bride.

Flower girl was Libby Clifton, cousin of the groom. Ringbearers were Sam Clifton, cousin of the groom, and Tyler Bohnert, cousin and godson of the bride.

Guest book attendants were Jennifer Jalack and Megan Bohnert, and program attendants were Emma Littge and Amanda Jalack, all cousins of the bride.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson, Mo.

The bride and groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 14 at the KC Hall.

Mrs. Geringer received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2001. She is a teacher's assistant at Stanton Elementary, and is pursuing a master's degree in educational technology.

The groom received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Southeast University in 1998. He is a network administrator with Epoch Group LC in St. Louis.

After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple resides in St. Louis.
