Heather Bliss and Jared Rouggly were married June 25, 2005, at Burnside Christian Church in Burnside, Ill. Jeremy Ferguson performed the ceremony. Pianist was Becky Smith of Carthage, Ill., guitarist was Luke Windham of Macomb, Ill., and vocalists were Sarah Ferguson of Macomb and Luke Windham. Trace Hood of Ipava, Ill., read scriptures.
The bride is the daughter of Brian and Sherry Bliss of Carthage. The groom is the son of Mike and Cindy Rouggly of Jackson.
Matron of honor was Rachel Moore of Carthage, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Bethany Pettit of Burnside, Amber Crisman and Jenny Conrad of St. Louis, and Kristin Junk of Carthage, cousin of the bride.
Lucas Rouggly of Grants Pass, Ore., was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Gustavo Vega of St. Louis, Aaron Oberle of Jackson, Timothy Jones and Andy Conklin, cousin of the groom, both of St. Louis. Ushers were Brandon Bliss of St. Louis, brother of the bride; Shane Moore, brother-in-law of the bride, and Tyler Junk, cousin of the bride, both of Carthage.
Flower girl was Gracie Hood, daughter of Don and Brandy Hood of Ipava. Ringbearers were Zachary Junk, cousin of the bride, and Aiden Moore, nephew of the bride, both of Carthage. Zachary is the son of Terry and Denise Junk. Aiden is the son of Shane and Rachel Moore.
Elysia Rouggly of Jackson, sister of the groom, attended the guest book. Greeters were Ben and Beth Rouggly of Jackson, brother and sister of the groom. Gift attendants were Nicole Junk of Carthage, Andrea Trout of LaHarpe, Ill., and Abby Spellman of Minneapolis, Minn., cousins of the bride.
The reception was held at Meyer's Courtyard in Keokuk, Iowa. Servers were Deb Spellman of Minneapolis, Denise Junk of Carthage, and Lisa Trout of LaHarpe, aunts of the bride.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 24 at Meyer's Courtyard.
Mrs. Rouggly received an associate's degree in medical massage science from Missouri College in St. Louis. She is employed at Clayton Chiropractic.
The groom received an associate's degree in missions at St. Louis Christian College. He is employed at MetLife.
After a wedding trip to St. Croix, Virgin Islands, the couple is residing in Creve Coeur, Mo.
