Nicole Blattel and Skye Hill were married Sept. 8, 2012, at St. Augustine Church in Kelso, Mo. The Rev. Oliver Clavin performed the ceremony. Organist was Betty Ressel and vocalist was Renee Reinagel, both of Kelso.

The bride is the daughter of Larry and Tina Blattel of Scott City. The groom is the son of Christy Hewes of Maryland Heights, Mo., and Chris Hill of Cape Girardeau.

Matron of honor was Emily Graves of Scott City, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Elaine Blattel of Scott City, sister of the bride, and Kaelin Hale of Cape Girardeau.

The groom chose his brother, Shae Hill of Cape Girardeau, as best man. Groomsmen were John Hewes of Columbia, Mo., brother of the groom, and Jake Luttrell of Scott City. Ushers were Robert Hewes of Halls, Tenn., and John Hewes, brothers of the groom.

Candlelighters were Emily Lawrence and Miranda Hill of Jackson. Emily is the daughter of Frank and Kim Lawrence. Miranda is the daughter of Tim and Kate Hill and cousin of the groom.

Flower girls were Addisyn and Kaylee Kubb, daughters of Brandon and Lauren Kubb of Winchester, Mo., and cousins of the bride. Ringbearer was Zachary Graves, son of Joe and Emily Graves of Scott City and nephew of the bride.

The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Scott City.

Jeff and Christy Hewes hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 7 at Ray's of Kelso.

Mrs. Hill is attending Southeast Hospital College of Nursing and Health Sciences. She is employed at Bagger Dave's in Cape Girardeau.

The groom is a graduate of Jackson High School. He is employed by Scott City Public Works Department.

After a wedding trip to Blue Ridge, Ga., the couple is residing in Scott City.
