Mary Beth Blamy and Kevin Charles Enger were united in marriage Oct. 19, 2002, at United Methodist Church of the Shepherd in St. Charles, Mo. The Rev. Robert Farr performed the ceremony. Vocalists were Katie Cole of Cape Girardeau, niece of the bride, and Eric Enger of St. Louis, son of the groom. Eric was also guitarist.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. George O. Farrar of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Andrew Enger of St. Louis, and the late Shirley Enger.
Susan Cole of Cape Girardeau was her sister's matron of honor.
Best man was Kurt Enger of St. Charles, brother of the groom.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the home of the bride and groom.
Mrs. Enger received a bachelor of arts degree in English from Southeast Missouri State University, and a master of arts degree in marketing from Webster University in St. Louis. She is director of public relations and marketing for SSM Health Care at St. Joseph Health Center and at St. Joseph Hospital West in St. Charles County.
The groom received a bachelor of science degree in administration justice from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He is general manager of Cecil Whittakers and River City Food Inc.
The couple resides in St. Charles.
