Holly Black and Robert Phillips exchanged vows Oct. 7, 2006, at Cape Bible Chapel in Cape Girardeau. The ceremony was performed by the fathers of the couple. Musicians were Ralph and Judy Sharp and Debbie Young, all of Jackson; Jay Moore, David Stagner and Kevin Alexander, all of Cape Girardeau. Soloists were Wendy Petzoldt and Debbie Leoni of Jackson, and Penny McCord of Lawrenceville, Ga., sister of the groom.
Parents of the couple are Randy and Sandy Black of Jackson, and Chuck and Wyema Phillips of London, England.
Matron of honor was Kirsten Black of Minot, N.D., sister-in-law of the bride. Bridesmaids were Teri Jones and Carrie Smith of Cape Girardeau, and Melissa Park of Dexter, Mo.
Vince Black of Minot, brother of the bride, was best man. Groomsmen were Ryan Rowe and James Wathen of Minot.
Flower girl was Avery Petzoldt, daughter of Duane and Wendy Petzoldt. Ringbearer was Ezra Black, son of Vince and Kirsten Black and nephew of the bride.
Melissa Frazier attended the guest book.
The reception was held at the church.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 6 at Port Cape Girardeau.
Mrs. Phillips is a graduate of Jackson High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education from Union University in Jackson, Tenn.
The groom received an associate of science degree in multimedia technology from Pensacola Junior College.
After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple resides in Minot.
