Veronica A. Benoit and H. Matthew Dodds were married Feb. 29, 2008, at Minor's Harley-Davidson in Scott City. Eric Hodge performed the ceremony. Vocalist was Amy Hodges of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the groom.

Darrell and Ruth Anne Morrison of Whitewater are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Herald and Karen Dodds of Cape Girardeau.

The bride was presented in marriage by her son, Kolton Benoit of Whitewater.

Matron of honor was Stacey Birk of Delta. Bridesmaids were Cathy Seabaugh of Fort Riley, Kan., cousin of the groom, and Susan Dodds of Hendersonville, Tenn., sister of the groom.

Jim Kerber of Morley, Mo., was best man. Groomsmen were Greg Brown of Shawneetown, cousin of the groom, and Kevin Fluegge of Millersville.

Guest book attendants were Lindsey Brown of Shawneetown and Abbie Merkler of St. Louis, cousins of the groom. Lindsey is the daughter of Greg and Lisa Brown. Abbie is the daughter of Jason Merkler.

The reception was held at Minor's Harley-Davidson. Servers were Dereck Morrison of Whitewater, brother of the bride, and Kolton Benoit.

Mrs. Dodds is a graduate of Delta High School and Southeast Missouri State University. She is a registered nurse with Delta School District.

The groom is a graduate of Central High School and Linn Technical College. He is an over-the-road truck driver with Commercial Transport Inc.

After a wedding trip to St. Louis, the couple resides in Whitewater and Cape Girardeau.
