Amy Lichele Belongy and Gary Wayne Weber II were married Oct. 26, 2002, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Altenburg, Mo. The Rev. Charles Weber performed the ceremony. Musicians were Mark and Diane Strege of St. Charles, Mo., cousins of the groom.
The bride is the daughter of Bill and Sheleigh Belongy of Cape Girardeau, and David and Dorthey Evans of Marion, Ark. The groom is the son of Gary and Pat Weber of Frohna, Mo.
Matrons of honor were Brianne Britt of Jackson and Erin Wunderlich of Frohna. Bridesmaids were Jessica Ponder and Liz Koeberl of Altenburg, Misty Thrower of Cape Girardeau, Rachelle Koch of Perryville, Mo., and Gretchen Weber of Frohna, sister of the groom. Junior bridesmaid was Brooke Kasten of Altenburg.
The groom chose his father as best man. Groomsmen were Jason Klaus and Jody Ponder of Frohna; Dan Ponder of Altenburg; Ken Petzoldt of St. Louis; Andy Head of Jackson, cousin of the groom; Mike Engert of Altenburg; and Dave Wunderlich of Frohna. Junior groomsman was Seth Strege of St. Charles, cousin of the groom. Ushers were Troy Martin of Altenburg and Adam Hoehne of Frohna.
Candlelighters were Stacy Winschel of Frohna, cousin of the groom, and Kellie Engert of Altenburg.
Flower girl and ringbearer were Ashley and Luke Strege of St. Charles, cousins of the groom.
Leaves were dropped by Kyle Winschel and Daniel Evans. Kyle is the son of Gregg and Stacy Winschel and cousin of the groom. Daniel is the son of Sylvia Evans of Jonesboro, Ark., and cousin of the bride.
Patty Hoehne and Sara Venneman attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson. Servers were Jenny Werner, Angie Head, Angela Rose, Thelma Haertling, Pam Head and Cindy Grebing.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 25 at West End Tavern.
Mrs. Weber is a graduate of Jackson High School. She is employed at Orthopaedic Associates in Cape Girardeau.
The groom is a graduate of Perryville High School and Rankin Technical College. He is employed at Jackson Machine and Manufacturing in Jackson.
After a wedding trip to Florida, the couple is residing in Altenburg.
