SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- First Baptist Church was the setting May 18, 2002, for the wedding of Melissa Yvonne Baldwin and Christopher Todd Campbell. The Rev. Kenneth Strong performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist was Elaine Wild of Mounds, Ill., and vocalist was Sally Buerick of Altenburg, Mo.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Cynthia Baldwin of Scott City. The groom is the son of Wilma Campbell of Scott City.
Maid of honor was Robin White of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Brenda Carter and Carrie Laurentius of Cape Girardeau, and Marjorie Brewer of Benton, Mo.
Mike Carter of Cape Girardeau served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Mark Morrill, Kenneth Holder Jr. and Roy Blankenship Jr., all of Scott City. Junior groomsmen were Lane Hitt, son of the bride, and Joey Campbell, son of the groom. Ushers were Robby Baldwin, brother of the bride, and John McFall, both of Scott City.
Flower girls were Hannah Lacy and Mattison Cline. Ringbearer was Joey Campbell, son of the groom. Hannah is the daughter of Phillip and Alisha Lacy of Oran, Mo. Mattison is the daughter of Matt and Misti Cline of Chaffee, Mo.
Candlelighters were Morgan Campbell, daughter of Ray Campbell of Scott City, and Ashlee Glastetter, daughter of David and Dayneen Glastetter of Chaffee.
Brenda Campbell of Scott City attended the guest book. Programs were handed out by Jacob Campbell, son of Ray Campbell.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was held at the VFW Hall in Scott City.
The rehearsal dinner was held May 17 at the church, hosted by Wilma Campbell and Marilyn Hutteger.
Mrs. Campbell is a graduate of Scott City High School. She is employed at Blair Industries.
The groom is a graduate of Scott City High School and attended Southwest Missouri State University. He is employed at Blair Industries.
The couple resides in Scott City.
