Baker -- Lynn

Leann Lin Baker and Whitney Franklin Lynn, both of Kansas City, Missouri, were married Nov. 7, 2015, at The Urban Event-Firestone Building in Kansas City. Jeff Kirby performed the ceremony. Music was provided by Sigur Ros.

The bride is the daughter of Brice and Lisa Baker of Stromsburg, Nebraska. The groom is the son of Danny and Tammy Lynn of Cape Girardeau.

Maid of honor was Melanie Baker of Stromsburg, sister of the bride. Matron of honor was Nicole Beck of Lincoln, Nebraska, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Cambrin Cobb of Kansas City; Alexandra Sandberg of Denver; Lindsey Wilson of Lincoln; Laura Raveill of Kansas City; Lorrin Lynn of New York City, sister of the groom; and Caroline Scherer of Kansas City.

Flower girl was Blake Cecilia Beck, daughter of Ryan and Nicole Beck of Lincoln and cousin of the bride.

Ring bearer was Landon Wilson, son of Nick and Lindsey Wilson of Lincoln.

Candlelighters were host couple Dave and Carolyn Petersen of Stromsburg, aunt and uncle of the bride.

Best men were Cody Hill of Dallas and Dr. Jay Ruark of Nashville, Tennessee. Groomsmen were Ryan Mulloy of Kansas City; Tim Simon of Kirkwood, Missouri; Matt Grosdidier of Fairway, Kansas; Dr. Jess Owsley of Denver; Patrick Tweedy of Kansas City; and Andrew Price of Prairie Village, Kansas.

Ushers were Jeff Neyer of St. Louis; Dr. Chris Jones of Tyler, Texas; Chris Price of Prairie Village; and Tyler Petersen of Lincoln, cousin of the bride.

The wedding reception was hosted by the bride's parents and held at The Urban Event-Firestone Building following the ceremony with dinner and dancing.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner on Nov. 6, 2015, at Pierpont's at Union Station in Kansas City.

Leann is a 2006 graduate of Cross County High School in Stromsburg and a 2009 graduate of Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri, with a bachelor's degree in interior design and fashion merchandising. She works at McCroskey Interiors of Kansas City.

Whitney is a 2003 graduate of Cape Central High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor's degree in geographic information systems. He is a geospatial analyst at Wilson and Co.

After a wedding trip to Sandals Grande St. Lucia Spa and Beach Resort in St. Lucia, the couple lives in Kansas City.
