Sara Dawn Atkins and Mark Steven Lueder were married May 14, 2005, at Jackson City Park. The Rev. Douglas McClellan performed the ceremony. Vocalist was Ginny Hahn of Chaffee, Mo.
The bride is the daughter of Jack and Bernice Atkins of Chaffee, Mo. The groom is the son of Arthur Lueder Jr. of Cape Girardeau, and the late Marion Lueder.
Matron of honor was Bethany Seyer of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Susan Tuttle of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the groom, and Amanda Berry of Cape Girardeau. Junior bridesmaids were Tori Ourth of Cape Girardeau and Brooke Seyer of New Hamburg, Mo., cousins of the bride.
Jeff Hendrix of Jackson was best man. Groomsmen were Bill Tuttle of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the groom, and Sherman Baker of Anna, Ill. Ushers were Sid Atkins of Chaffee, brother of the bride, and Gregg Ourth of Oran, Mo., uncle of the bride.
Miniature bride was Mattison Cline, daughter of Matt Cline and Misty Cline of Chaffee.
Flower girls were Olivia Ourth and Elleigh Seyer. Ringbearers were Peyton Atkins and Garner Horman. Olivia is the daughter of Jason and Jessica Ourth of Scott City and cousin of the bride. Elleigh is the daughter of Ronnie and Lisa Seyer of Chaffee. Peyton is the son of Sid and Lana Atkins and nephew of the bride. Garner is the son of Scot and Leslie Horman of Chaffee.
Raymond and Lucy Ourth attended the guest book.
The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson.
The groom's father hosted the rehearsal dinner May 13 at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
Mrs. Lueder is employed at DAEOC Headstart.
The groom is employed at Powers Electric.
The couple resides in Whitewater.
