JACKSON, Mo. -- Angel Antiqua Atchley and Mark Steven Hahn were united in marriage Aug. 18, 2001, at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Paul J. Short performed the double ring ceremony.
Organist was Pat Palisch; pianist was Georgia Dalton, great-aunt of the bride; soloist was Nicholas Dalton, cousin of the bride; trumpeter was Matt Martin; and flutist was Misty Massa.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Michael Ott of Jackson. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Thomas C. Sparkman of Cape Girardeau and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hahn of Advance, Mo.
Angie Atchley of Cape Girardeau, twin sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Tara King of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom; Mindy Iten of Cape Girardeau, Melissa Rowe of St. Louis, Amber Newcomb of Kansas City, and Kylie Eggimann of Cape Girardeau.
Best man was Scott Rhodes of Cape Girardeau. Groomsmen were Shawn King of Cape Girardeau, brother-in-law of the groom; Jason Crowell and Mark Lanzotti of Cape Girardeau, David Kuffel of New Braunfels, Texas, and Brian Regenhardt of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Randy Sparkman of Cape Girardeau, brother of the groom; Billy Wallis and Jasen Wessell of Millersville, Mo., cousins of the groom.
Candlelighters were Katie Camp of Cape Girardeau, and Jennifer Wallis of Millersville, cousin of the groom.
Flower girl was Logan Wessell of Gordonville, Mo., cousin of the groom. Ringbearer was Thomas Sumner Sparkman of Cape Girardeau, nephew of the groom.
Guest book attendants were Whitney Wessell of Gordonville, cousin of the groom, and Jesse Springer of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Cape Girardeau Country Club.
Dr. and Mrs. Sparkman hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 17 at Celebrations.
Mrs. Hahn is a 1996 graduate of Central High School. She is pursuing a degree in social work at Oakland University in Auburn Hills, Mich.
The groom is a 1990 graduate of Central High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in biology from Southeast Missouri State University, and received a master's degree in cell biology from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos in 1997. He is a third year medical student at Kirksville School of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Mo. Hahn is doing clinical rotations in Rochester Hills, Mich.
The couple is residing in Rochester Hills.
