The bride is the daughter of Sharon Anderson of Cape Girardeau, and the late Loyal Anderson. The groom is the son of Michael D. and Mary R. Smith of Gordonville and Elizabeth S. Smith of Cape Girardeau.

The bride and groom attended Cape Girardeau Schools. He is employed at Wieser Hyundai, and is currently deployed to Iraq with the 110th Engineer Battalion.

The couple will reside in Cape Girardeau.
