Chelsey Elaine Allsop and Jason Michael Banaskavich were united in marriage March 7, 2009, at the Foundry Art Centre in St. Charles, Mo. Judge William Camm Seay performed the ceremony. Pianist was Christine Erickson of Kirksville, Mo., sister of the groom.

The bride is the daughter of Betty Allsop of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Michael and Claire Banaskavich of Manchester, Mo.

Man of honor was Jonathan Koch of Columbia, Mo. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Standridge, Christie Reisenbichler and Colleen Adams, all of Cape Girardeau, and Stevee Seay of Salem, Mo.

The groom chose his father as best man. Groomsmen were Shane Huckabee of Fredericktown, Mo., and Matthew Griffith of St. Louis.

Candlelighters were Justin and Farah Shaddix of Cape Girardeau, brother-in-law and sister of the bride.

The reception was held at the art centre.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner March 6 at their home.

Mrs. Banaskavich is pursuing a master of arts degree in nonprofit management from Washington University. She is a membership development manager with the Girl Scouts River Bluffs Council in Glen Carbon, Ill.

The groom received a master of science degree in aerospace engineering from the university in 2007. He is a strength engineer with Boeing Co. in St. Louis.

After a wedding trip to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple is residing in St. Charles.
