Laura Leanette Aden and David William Pepon were married June 22, 2002, at Von Jakob Vineyard in Pomona, Ill. Daniel Hargrave of Malden, Mo., performed the double ring ceremony. Abby Hargrave of Malden played keyboard.
Parents of the couple are Tim and Carolyn Aden of Malden and George and Barbara Pepon of Warren, Ohio.
Matron of honor was Christy Hicks, sister of the bride, and maid of honor was Courtney Bristow, both of Malden. Bridesmaids were Laura Pepon of Warren, sister of the groom, and Ashley McCord of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.
Nick Lombardi of Celina, Ohio, cousin of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Chris Earnheart of Malden, Johnathan Wicker of Ohio, and Scott McCord of Lake Havasu City. Ushers were Chris Earnheart and Johnathan Wicker.
Flower girl was Claire Hicks, daughter of Jason and Christy Hicks and niece of the bride.
The reception, dinner and dance was held at the vineyard.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 21 at the vineyard. Server was Diane Miller of Amhurst, Ohio, aunt of the groom.
Mrs. Pepon received a bachelor of science degree in human environmental studies from Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at Metro Lighting.
The groom attended the University of Youngstown in Youngstown, Ohio. He is an electronics specialist at Staples.
After a wedding trip to New Orleans, the couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
