For his Eagle Project Zack completed the restoration of the Veterans Flag Memorial at Cape County Park North. His work was part of the phase 1 restoration and improvements planned at and around the memorial. Zack removed all the old bushes, plants and gravel that had been in place for over 10 years. He installed new soil, weed barrier, 11 tons of new Trap rock and planted many new plants. He also power-washed the flag base and then painted it. Zack and his volunteers spent over 130 hours on the project. Nearly $1,000 in materials and $1,200 in tools and equipment rental were donated to the project.

This is the first time in over 10 years that this amount of time and resources have been devoted to this memorial.
