Young signs with MAC

Perryville High School senior Brittany Young has signed a letter of intent to play softball for Mineral Area College in Park Hills. She pictured here flanked by her parents Janet and Jay Young of Perryville. Back -- Perryville High School softball coach and athletic director Jeff Steffens and MAC head softball coach Dave Guemmer. Young is a third-baseman for the Lady Pirates. She is a member of NHS, FBLA, FCCLA, Friends of Education, is a student ambassador and is in the A+ program. She plans to study accounting at Mineral Area College.
