The wreckage of a hay barn on South Mt. Auburn Road that could be seen from I-55. The hay barn was flattened by the wind on July 15 as if some giant hand had squashed it to the ground. The barn was built in the 1930's and was part of Armstrong Dairy which is also known as Silver Springs Farm. In back of the collapsed barn, one can see a picture of the medical office building which is part of the Southeast Missouri Hospital Cancer Center which is currently being constructed...
