Barb Ostrenga CAP-OM, a member of Girardot Chapter IAAP and administrative assistant in the Graduate Business Studies office at Southeast Missouri State University presented the program "The Unique Role of the Multi-Manager Admin" at the January 15th meeting of Girardot Chapter IAAP. The one hour program shared tips on how to establish priority of assignments, how to determine the "true" organizational chart of the company and how to avoid "multi-manager madness." The chapter members were enthusiastic in discussing suggestions that have been helpful to them, and trying to determine different paths that might be taken to maintain professionalism and advance their careers within a multi-manager office.

Barb has had several years of experience working in multi-manager departments. While she was comfortable speaking on this subject, she noted that she was eager to gain a better understanding of the subject by preparing the presentation and offering it to members.
