Tankersley Joins Love In the Name of Christ

Cape Girardeau, MO; May 14, 2013 - Love In the Name of Christ of Southeast Missouri is pleased to announce Tammy Tankersley has been selected as Executive Director. Tankersley, a Jackson resident, brings over 12 years of experience at the Workforce Investment Board to the position. Tankersley operated in a variety of positions at WIB, beginning as a case manager for clients. Most recently she served as Assistant to the President and Special Projects Manager.

"We are excited about the depth of skills and experience Tammy brings to the table," said Jeff Fanger, Board Chair, Love In the Name of Christ. "We believe God has uniquely prepared her for this position and will continue blessing the ministry under her leadership."

"Love INC provides opportunities for Churches and individuals in the body of Christ to effectively coordinate and meet the needs of our communities," said Tankersley. "The vision of Love INC reflects the mind of Christ. It is a great privilege to be part of this ministry."

Tankersley assumed the position at Love In the Name of Christ on May 6.
