Lydia started this endeavor a year ago by street playing in downtown Cape Girardeau on her electric violin. As her playing progressed, so did her love in the legendary band Rush. After seeing many of their tribute concerts, Gentry felt inspired to cover one of their songs, "Subdivisions", because the lyrics interpreted how high school students must "conform or be cast out".

Fans of Violin Drangoness (Lydia's online persona) can purchase "Subdivisions" on iTunes, Amazon, CDBaby.com, and BandCamp.com. Visit www.phoenixoffireflies.wixsite.com/violinddragoness/ for more information about Lydia Gentry.
