Southeast Hospital nurses and staff members surprised St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan and longtime patient Gene "Doak" Dawson of Sikeston, Mo., with a "tailgate" party in his hospital room on Thursday. They donned Cardinals gear, decorated the room, and enjoyed hot dogs, Cracker Jacks and peanuts. They also sang "Take Me Out to the Ball Game." Dawson is seated on the bed, second from left.
