Hannah Trautman and Savannah Lively receive their Girl Scout Bronze Award for their Storm Drain Stenciling Project. After learning chemicals, cigarette butts, paint, trash and yard wastes take this path into our waterways, spoiling them for people and wildlife, Hannah and Savannah wanted to raise the community awareness that only rainwater belongs in storm drains. They cleaned-up around each drain prior to stenciling with the supplies and environmentally safe paint generously supplied by City of Cape Public Works Dept..
