Ste. Geneveive, Mo, best known for its collection of French Colonial architecture and as Missouri's first European settlement, has been selected at Budget Travel Magazines 'Top Ten Coolest Small Towns' in America. Budget travel chose Ste. Genevieve as one of the top ten finalists from over 600 entries. Voting has begun to determine which of the final top ten is the coolest small town in America.
Ste. Genevieve, with a population of just over 4,300 residents, is asking for Missourians to show their support and pride with a vote for this 'cool town' at http://www.budgettravel.com/contest/americas-coolest-small-towns-2012,11. Votes are allowed once every 24 hours and the final day of voting is January 31, 2012.
Ste. Genevieve is centrally located between St. Louis and Cape Girardeau, MO off I-55 at Exit 150 on Highway 32. In 2008, the National Trust for Historic Preservation named Ste.
