State Farm Looks to Community for Best Ideas

Today (March 3) State Farm is launching a program in which:

* People with ideas on how to improve their local communities can submit them on Facebook.

* The public will then vote for their favorite ideas -- State Farm will give $25,000 to the Top 40 to see them come to reality

* Last year's winners included a(n):

o Dog park in Mississippi

o Art therapy for children in Missouri

o Teen-run program to help war veterans in New York

o Financial literacy program for high school students in Idaho
