CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. -- The City of Cape Girardeau's Public Access Cable Channel 5 will host marathons of the show Vintage Vehicle on Sunday afternoons from noon to 5 p.m. leading up to the 32nd Annual Classic Car Show downtown on Sept. 20.
Vintage Vehicle celebrates classic vehicles and their owners in a 30-minute show that normally airs on Channel 5 Thursdays at 7 and 7:30 p.m.
River City Rodders and Old Town Cape will host their car show downtown on Sunday, Sept. 20. Vehicles will line Historic Downtown Cape Girardeau along Main Street and the parking area across from Hutson's Furniture, with more than 200 expected to attend. The event is free and open to the public.
Channel 5 is a local public-government access station that airs programming created or submitted by Cape Girardeau and Jackson organizations, schools, hospitals, churches and residents. Submissions include videos, text and images.
The current Channel 5 schedule is posted on the city's website, and printed in the Southeast Missourian's primetime listings. To submit programming to Channel 5, register online or at City Hall.

Ask Your Doctor -- A live, call-in medical program produced locally by Ron Duff Video Productions and hosted by Dr. Zenon Duda.
Beyond Today -- This weekly newscast offers a unique religious perspective on current events. It is a national program submitted locally.
Cape Chronicle -- Semi-annual news program that covers city government produced by Southeast Missouri State University students and faculty.
Cape Girardeau City Council -- Open and transparent, the Council conducts business live during their regular meeting on the first and third Mondays at 7 p.m. Replays are not live. Council meetings are available 24 hours a day on the city website.
Cape Update -- A community bulletin slideshow accompanied by Southeast Public Radio. The 100 slides repeat every 15 minutes.
Centenary United Methodist Church -- Sunday service updated on Tuesdays.
Independently Speaking -- A monthly, 30-minute news program that covers disability independence issues in our area produced by Southeast Missouri State University students and faculty.
Link TV -- A national program that spotlights and explores a variety of world cultures and issues.
Missouri Outdoors -- A variety of programming that covers statewide outdoor activities and issues provided by the Missouri Conservation Department.
National Gallery of Art -- A national program that spotlights art and its history.
Public Forum -- A monthly, 30-minute news program on local topics produced by Southeast Missouri State University students and faculty.
River Tales -- A monthly, 30-minute feature produced by Southeast Missouri State University students and faculty that explores our region's most interesting people and places.
