St. Louis Natives Will Travel to Boston, MA to Compete for 10K

St. Louis natives Rasheed Sulaiman (21) and Antione Brown (21) and Jackson White (19) will travel to the National Urban League Conference in Boston, Massachusetts on Saturday, July 30 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.

These young entrepreneurs have been selected in advance to present in the "Small Business Matters" 60 Second Pitch Competition presented by 100 Urban Entrepreneurs. The three young entrepreneurs will travel for one day to compete for the chance to win $10,000 and 8 weeks of mentoring. The founders will be pitching their business venture Go Parti.

Go Parti started in 2010, it is a online service providing party goers with a tool to help find and share nightlife events, stay informed with their favorite spot's happenings, and share moments of their nightlife with friends. Go Parti will also provide bar, lounge, and clubs a powerful promotional tool that drives consumers into their venues and cuts costs.

Sulaiman is a graduate of McCluer High School and currently attends Southeast Missouri State University. He is the chief executive officer and co-founder of Go Parti.

The St. Louis native will be evaluated on their creativity, and skills.

"We have been working on this venture idea for some time now and would love to see Go Parti take home the $10,000 to expand our business", Sulaiman says. "I know we have the drive to succeed."

Brown is a graduate of Riverview High School and currently attends Lincoln University. As the president and co-founder of Go Parti, Brown brings drive and passion to the competition.

The youngest of the partners, White a graduate of Cardinal Ritter High School and student at Southeast Missouri State University offers a business savvy personality.

The summit will offer workshops, networking opportunities that will focus on financing a business, selling to corporate America, creating a marketing plan, as well as the availability of public sector programs.
