SOUTHERN ILLINOIS AIDS Holiday Project Seeks Family Sponsors
The Southern Illinois AIDS Holiday Project is working to meet the needs of 150 low-income households impacted by HIV / AIDS in the 22 southern-most counties of Illinois. Additional family sponsors are needed to help make this project a success.
The goal of the project t is to provide each adult 1-2 gifts and each child 3-4 gifts served by the project. Gift requests are typically basic needs such as clothes, toys, etc. Family sponsors can either shop themselves for the gift requests or they can make a donation and volunteers will do the shopping.
For more information contact Wally Paynter at 812-480-0204 or wallypaynter@aol.com. Donations can be made to the AIDS Holiday Project c/o Wally Paynter, 908 Oak Street Apt. B, Carmi, IL 62821.
