Southeast Missouri State University Art Academy Exhibits Aug. 3

The 2018 Southeast Missouri State University Art Academy Workshop will be having two exhibit opening receptions on Friday, Aug. 3 from 5- 8 p.m.

The Arts Council of Southeast Missouri located at 16 North Spanish Street in Cape Girardeau, Missouri ( Phone: 573-334-9233 | www.capearts.org) will be featuring artworks from the following Art Academy workshops:

� Ages 6-9 : Art Interactions, Drawing with Imagination, Color Connection, Painting, and Maker space 3D Art

� Ages 10-15 : Full Steam Ahead, Drawing from Life, Color Fusion,Painting and Mixed Media, and 3 D Design

� Ages 16- adult: Teacher Basket, 3D Needle Felting,Textured Metal Jewelry, Japanese Stab Binding Book, and Prodigious Portraits

The Southeast Missouri State University�s Ceramic Studio located at 835 Broadway, (behind Howard�s Sporting Goods), will be featuring artworks from the following Art Academy workshops:

� Ages 6-9 : Children�s Ceramics

� Ages 10-15 : Young Potter�s

The Art Academy workshops are engaging and creative learning experiences in a wide range of media for ages six through adult.
