Sock Hop To Benefit Cape Area Family Resource Center This Sunday

The second annual sock hop to benefit the Cape Area Family Resource Center will be held at the Rose Bed Inn in Cape Girardeau this Sunday, Sept. 14th from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Break out your poodle skirts, jeans, and penny loafers and get ready to dance your socks off! Several local restaurants will be providing the meal. There will be a silent auction, and many local artists will also be on hand showing some of their work. The event will be held in the gardens of the Rose Bed Inn, located at 611 South Sprigg Street at the corner of Hwy. 74, with parking in the rear. All proceeds will go towards building renovations at Cape Area Family Resource Center, which is located at 1202 S. Sprigg St. in Cape Girardeau.
