Just days after Mayfield, Kentucky was hit by tornadoes, local youth headed to town with trunks full of baseball gear and donations. SEMO Rebels 12U is constructed of boys from Leopold, Advance, Delta, Marble Hill, Poplar Bluff, Oak Ridge, Jackson, and Cape. They've been playing weekend tournaments since March but this weekend was definitely life altering. They filled the bed of a truck for Mayfield Locals in need, visualized the tornadoes aftermath, and played well enough to qualify for the Little League World Series. Lone Oak Wolverines 6-1(W), Comets 7-4(W), Paducah Storm 10-0(W), and Rangers 0-8(L).
