What in your background or education makes you qualified for this office?

I have a bachelor's degree from Southeast Missouri State University and I'm currently working on a master's degree. I also have extensive experience working in public safety including budgeting and personnel issues.

What do you believe is the greatest challenge facing your city government?

One of the major issues elected officials seem to forget is that they are servants of the people, not the other way around. We have to get back to helping people and get away from the "quid pro quo" mentality.
