Reward Offered for Arrest of Monument Vandal

The Missouri Division of the Sons of Confederate Veterans and the Missouri Society of the Military Order of the Stars and Bars is offering a $1000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person and or persons that vandalized the Confederate Monument on the lawn of the Courthouse in Cape Girardeau on or about October 11th.

If you have information about the vandal call the Cape Girardeu Police Department at 573-335-6621. Tell them you have information about the Monument Vandalism to collect your award. Ask for the front desk to be routed to the appropriate officer.
