Director of Admissions Dee Blakley recommends that students call or stop by the admissions desk at the main campus or any of the extension centers in Cairo, Metropolis, or Anna to make an appointment to meet with an advisor. Students who meet certain criteria can enroll online using the Saints Online website. Both returning and new students should make advisement and registration appointments as soon as possible.

SCC enrollment management plan has several payment options. Students must make financial arrangements to secure spots in classes and save their seat. Payment options include securing financial aid such as scholarships, grant funding or through other funding agencies; self-pay through the online e-cashier, pay in full at the bursar's office with cash, check or credit card, or at one of the extension centers by cash or check.

When meeting with SCC advisors, students can expect guidance in planning their program of study and class schedules. Students cannot be admitted into a curriculum before he or she has completed placement testing or advised.
