Schools at Perry County School District 32 will dismiss early Feb. 16 for parent-teacher conferences, but the Perryville High School Library will remain open.

"We'll be open during parent-teacher conference time, from noon to 7:30 pm on Thursday, Feb. 16 for students who are working on credit recovery," said librarian Candyce Giesler.

"Those students usually work before and after school, so this is 7 hours of extra time in which they can accomplish a lot."

Credit Recovery is a program designed to recover credit for the required classes in which the student did not receive credit. To see what courses are available for credit recovery, visit the Perry County School District 32 Website at www.perryville.k12.mo.us, select Perryville High School, then choose the Guidance Office from the green menu bar. Click on Credit Recovery.

This is the last semester that the credit recovery program is free, so Giesler encourages students to take advantage of the extra hours offered on Feb. 16.

For more information, call Giesler at 573-547-7500, ext. 215.

Class dismissal is at 11 am on Feb. 16, with parent-teacher conferences from noon to 7:30 pm.
