I am the current Alderman for Ward 1 of Perryville and have served in this position for 8 years.

What is the most important issue facing Perryville? What can be done about it?

The most important issue for our city and county is to provide the best education opportunities for people of all ages in both private and public schools. A good education allows people to expand their ability for more rewarding job opportunities and earning potential.

What in your background or education makes you qualified for this office?

I am qualified for this position for many reasons. I have successfully and honorably served in this same position for the past 8 years. I have over twenty years of negotiation and mediating skills. I have served as a Parks and Recreation board member, a little league board member and I have been an employee of Sabreliner for 43 years. These positions have allowed me to demonstrate the leadership skills necessary to be successful.

What infrastructure improvements would you like to see?

Fortunately, we are very proactive at planning and completing all vital Perryville infrastructure improvements. Having this proactive strategy has allowed Perryville to set an example for other cities to follow. We are currently finishing two new water towers which will provide better water flow for areas by the interstate. Also, we continue to ensure our excellent sewer system by ensuring no infiltration of rain water into the system.
