My whole family graduated from District 32, I was born and raised in Perry County currently serving on the school board has been an honor for me. My nursing career was built on a strong educational background and the passion to help people.I know how important a quality education is for our students to establish a secondary education or for job opportunities, we all want future leaders and it starts with education.
Maintaining our current APR score of 90% and continuing to raise our score, this was possible though the hard work, dedication of the staff. Academics are the most important thing we can give to our students and we need quality staff who are compensated for their work, so we need a salary plan so we are keeping the ones we have and are competitive to get new staff instead of losing both to other districts.
Salary analysis of all staff.Space is needed for our students and staff so academics can continue. Space needs are not due to increase numbers but increased service we need for our students. So I would like to see a plan for immediate, five, ten year plan to address space needs.Work with new Superintendent to develop a budget to maintain our current facilities, roofs, HVAC, technology needs to stay current with technology, growth of our facilities for the future.
