What in your background or education makes you qualified for this office?

I have a Master's Degree in education but most importantly I have been involved in the education system for the past 30 years as a teacher, administrator, and parent.

I have experience working with elementary through college age students and staff. I and am not afraid to make tough decisions that are in the best interest of our students, district, and community.

What do you believe is the greatest challenge facing your school district?

I recognize one of the biggest challenges facing our district is the lack of space. With almost 900 students enrolled at Perryville Elementary and over 700 at both the middle and high school the lack of space is impacting our student's ability to be productive.

If elected, do you have any plans for improving the school district?

If elected I would work tirelessly to further develop a plan for expansion that would meet the needs of the students and district and to follow through on that plan, with the community's support. A vote for me would be a vote that will help bring the school board together as a cohesive unit that will work together to focus on improving our district for the education of our students
