To celebrate turning 81, Broadway Prescription Shop gave away an Apple iPad mini. Customers and members of the public could enter by downloading a prescription app, completing an entry form in the pharmacy, and following Broadway Prescription Shop on Facebook. After several weeks the winner, Nina Key of Cape Girardeau, was announced on July 10.
The iPad mini was presented to Key in her home by Lee Schlitt, co-owner of the pharmacy, and Customer Care Specialist, Jen Cecich. Key said she is very excited about reading books on the mini and learning more about its many features. One way Broadway Prescription Shop plans to ensure this occurs is to have their delivery drivers provide free instruction when they make free deliveries to Key, a long-time customer of the pharmacy.
Additional complimentary services provided by Broadway Prescription Shop include an online refill app and option via their website (www.BroadwayPharm.com), bubble packaging called the Personal Pack to help patients and caregivers easily track dosage, compounded prescriptions in various forms that make taking them easier, and Broadway LTC, which provides personalized medication management to long-term care facilities.
