The Nancy Hunter Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution will assist in a genealogy workshop/program with the Cape Girardeau Public Library. The Library will provide information on how to begin an ancestor search, general ideas on where to look for genealogical materials and how to obtain records. Materials in the Library's genealogy collection including books, indexes, microfilm and online sources will be discussed. Nancy Hunter members will assist workshop participants in research and encourage anyone interested in becoming a DAR member. The workshop will be at the Cape Girardeau Public Library on Thursday, October 29, from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.
