Do you support Amendment 2?

While I support additional transparency and accountability in campaigns, Amendment 2 is far too flawed for me to support. There are serious questions surrounding some of the provisions of this measure, and it may prevent some from fully exercising their political speech rights.

Do you support Amendment 3?

In principle, I do not support tax increases in general. An excise tax like Amendment 3 singles out one group for a punitive tax, and I do not agree with this approach.

What steps should be taken to improve funding for Missouri's roads and bridges?

We have to do more to properly prioritize our budget, rather than raising taxes. Social welfare programs take up the largest chunk of our budget, and by reducing waste and promoting efficiency we can free up funding for other programs, like infrastructure.

Besides roads and bridges, what is the biggest challenge for the state of Missouri that the legislature needs to address?

We have to keep standing up against the federal government and defending our rights. Federal bureaucrats continue trying to grab more power, and at the state level, it is our responsibility to stand up for the Tenth Amendment.
