The Jackson R-2 Foundation has received a grant in the amount of $3450 from Ronald McDonald House Charities to be used for the purchasing of modern technology for the classrooms. The funds will purchase iPads to be used by 5th grade students at West Lane Elementary.

RMHC supports non-profit childrens' programs in the areas of education, health and social well-being, and the cultural arts. The local chapter awarded over $250,000 in grants to projects in the tri-zstate area in 2012.
