Fall Cross Country in High School was mandatory fitness preparation for winter Basketball season. Then not again till 59.
Adopted year old dog from HSSEMO/P4P, walks were not cutting it for him or me.
23.02. Was so cold out had to run super fast to stay thawed out.
None really. Not RACING for personal satisfaction.
With a hefty bit of walking included...10 miles.
LaCroix trail runs especially when rabbits, squirrels, and deer are out (but skunks not). Bonus points if it is snowing.
Say a prayer of gratitude each run for simply being able to. Then for mental and physical fitness and commune with nature. The running community is the greatest. Seems counterintuitive, but participation in organized runs is actually a very satisfying way to donate to a variety of worthwhile causes.
