On February 22, 2014 St Mary Cathedral Home and School Association with host it's annual Dinner Auction, themed "Mardi Gras!" Guests will dine on delicious fare from Ray's of Kelso, including Jambalaya and King Cake as part of the N'Orleans tradition. Jazz music will be provided by St Louis Band Fanfare,with "extra" entertainment provided by special guests! Several raffles will be drawn, including a champagne raffle where a lucky winner will take home a lovely diamond and topaz ring,a student raffle with a grand prize of $1000 or a fantastic trip to N'Orleans, 2 50/50 raffles with cash prizes, PLUS a GRAND PRIZE of $10,000 from the LOTSA CASH raffle, which has been promoted for several months at the parish and school. Tickets for the LOTSA CASH raffle can be purchased up till the time of the event at Guys Big and Tall and Knaup Floral, or from the school office @ 335-3840. Tickets for the dinner itself are $30 apiece and can be purchased at the school office as well. Doors at Ray's Plaza Conference Center open at 4:00pm with dinner at 5:15pm. Oral auction follows the dinner and features many hot items including 3rd ROW TICKETS to the upcoming Billy Joel Concert at the ScottTrade Center in St Louis April 2014, tickets to multiple country venues at Verizon Amphitheater this spring and summer (includes Rascal Flatts, Luke Bryan, Toby Keith and Keith Urban), PIT PASSES to Nascar's August Race at Bristol, TN just to name a few! And this year after the auction is "Bourbon Street After Hours", as the party continues with music, dance and fun. Separate cover applies for entry and bar.
