Cape Girardeau native and Track and Field standout, William Shell, has signed a professional contract with Brooks for the 2015 professional track season and has been selected to receive the Special Achievement Ward from the Missouri Sports Hall of fame this year for being named 2014 CoSIDA/Capital One All-American of the Year. Other achivements include:

4X NCAA Academic All-American
5X MIAA Conference Champion
9X MIAA All-Conference
MIAA Conference Record Holder in 400m
2013 Ranked 38th in the nation at 400m according to Track and Field News
2013 Jayhawk Classic 400m Champion
2014 Jayhawk Classic 400m Champion
2013 KU Relays 400m Collegiate Runner-Up
2014 KU Relays 400m Collegiate Champion
2013 and 2014 CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-American First Team
William ran collegiately for Southwest Baptist University and is currently attending SBU pursuing his Doctorate in physical therapy
