Levi's Mother Invites You to a Party Sunday

A simple white sock took me to my knees as I reached into my sock drawer and pulled out one of Levi's socks. I couldn't believe it as I pulled out his little white sock. I had to sit for a moment as I held It tightly I began to remember that I should be getting him ready to go to Pre K instead of sitting here with only his sock. I put his sock in my pocket. It's the little things that really hit hard.

This sock has such meaning to me. It was Levi's and now he's not here to put his foot in it. I know he would be 5 this year but he will always be 3 1/2 years old to me. This sock wouldn't even fit him now but in my mind his foot will always be that size.

Levi's 5th birthday party will be Sunday Sept. 15th however Levi will not be visibly present.

I am so grateful to the volunteers of Levi's Children's Charity and the wonderful sponsors who like us believe that all children should be able to pretend, imagine, enjoy each other and play outside. The celebration of life event, Levi's 5th birthday will be on Sunday the 15th at the Discovery Playhouse in Cape. Two session's noon- 2:00 pm. and 2:30 -- 4:30 p.m. Please bring your kids. Just seeing other children laugh and play helps me get through these hard days. Levi loved to play and laugh and that's what he would want on his birthday not sadness.

This event is open to everyone and it is free. We just ask that you register so we can expect your family. Ill post a link where you can register.
