What do you believe is the greatest challenge facing your school district?

Small schools face big challenges. I believe Leopold R-III has a challenge in coming up with the funding to bring computers and other forms of technology into their classrooms. However good instruction is still good instruction with or without technology which I believe Leopold Schools dominate in. Budget cuts have generated problems for most public schools in recent years. Less funding means smaller staffs, scarcer resources and an inferior number of services for students.

If elected, do you have any plans for improving the school district?

If elected, I do not have a plan for specific improvement. Nonetheless I will participate as an active school board member who will collaborate with other members on the board to adopt policies that give the district direction to set priorities and achieve overall school vision and goals.

What makes you the most qualified candidate for this position? My qualifications include having a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration along with a Master of Science degree in Teaching Leadership. My degrees along with my experience in the Public School system makes me a qualified candidate.
