On August 11, 2010, teachers from St. Paul Lutheran School in Jackson were trained on how to use learner response systems in their classrooms. These systems provide opportunities for students to answer assessment questions in an enjoyable interactive manner. Many flipcharts on almost any subject can be downloaded to use with the systems, or teachers can customize their own. The children enjoy using them and less paper is used than with traditional testing. Further training is planned for early October.
