The Scott City Lady Rams Volleyball team hosted a "Fight for a Cure" game night on October 1st in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The team raised $700 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation!! There were raffled items, such as a volleyball quilt and breast cancer quilt donated by Jana Jennings; a breast cancer necklace donated by Sandy Gibbons; and a gift basket donated by Barbara Bernard. The girls also had a bake sale before the game. The team wore special pink shirts and also played with a pink and white ball for the match. The volleyball was then signed and raffled off as well. It was a great night for a great cause!! Way to go Lady Rams!!
